After a successful business career working throughout Virginia,
Robert G. Beck founded Beck Company in 1970. It was his desire
to be in the hospitality industry after returning from a family
vacation in Naples, Florida, and having a strong commitment
to provide a service to others.
Beck Company started with a 48-room property in Winchester
Virginia, and has since grown to 11 properties to include
the Hilton, InterContinental, and Choice Hotel brands. Hotels
that are owned and managed by Beck Company are located in
the following cities throughout Virginia: Emporia, Harrisonburg,
Newport News, South Hill, and Winchester.
Beck Company is proud to be affiliated with several of the
largest hotel chains in the world. Many of the Beck Company
hotels and restaurants have been recognized and awarded achievements
by their brands, and the local community through excellent
service and a commitment to our customers. Mr. Beck believes
Beck Company has enjoyed this success by providing outstanding
service to our customers and guests who stay at our hotels,
and dine in our restaurants.
Due to the company’s success,
Beck Company continues to grow and expand with the opening
and management of new
hotels. In 2007, the Fairfield Inn and Suites will open in
South Hill, Virginia and in 2008 Beck Company will own and
operate a second Hampton Inn in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
